For the Qingdao Laboratory we wanted to recreate the underwater feeling as the customers access the space. That is why the lobby design uses geometrical floor pattern that remind one of the ocean bottoms. Also, the indirect lights and reflective surfaces help in creating a submerged atmosphere while the light fixture floats above like a fish school.
